Vaccines for patients and parents
Most well child visits through the age of 2 years have vaccines associated with them. We firmly believe in the safety, efficacy, and usefulness of vaccines in general and strongly recommend following the schedule published by the American Academy of Pediatrics. We encourage you to ask any questions and discuss any concerns you may have with your regular physician so that we can ensure that your child is adequately and appropriately protected from many preventable infectious diseases.
We also strongly encourage parents to maintain appropriate immunization status as their health can and does directly affect the health of their children. Parents and all direct caregivers, including nannies and other family members, should have a recent TdaP (adult Tetanus and Pertussis booster) and seasonal Influenza vaccines. For your convenience we offer administration of these vaccines to parents, or they be may able to obtain them at their personal physician’s office.
