Dr. Walters offers consultations for parents-to-be in both domestic and international adoptions.  She offers a comprehensive pre-adoption review of any videos, photographs and medical reports you may have obtained and provides a written summary with recommendations which includes counseling of prospective parents prior to travel.  She additionally offers post-adoption physical, developmental and laboratory evaluations for those who choose to use Bethesda Pediatrics as their primary care provider.  The fee for this consultation is $175. Dr. Walters is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics section on Foster Care and adoption and previously served on the Board of trustees of The Barker Foundation, a local adoption agency.
