Referrals
We are happy to refer you to many competent and well respected pediatric subspecialists when warranted by your child’s health condition. We ask that when possible you seek our guidance before self-referring as we may feel one specialist is more appropriate or experienced in addressing your specific situation than another. Additionally, each of the physicians in our group practice may prefer to refer to specific providers within any given field.
Below are lists of providers organized by subspecialty that are frequently recommended by the physicians of Bethesda Pediatrics. Please let us know if you find any inaccuracies, as occasionally a provider may have changed phone numbers or office addresses since our list was last updated. Feedback from our patient population is also important to us and may influence who we recommend in the future, so please let us know of your experiences.
Be sure to verify that any given subspecialist is a participating provider on your insurance plan. Should you require a paper referral we ask that you provide our front desk staff with the name of the specialist as well as the date of the appointment before we can complete the form. Please allow adequate time before your appointment date to either pick up the referral in person or receive the paperwork by mail. We strongly discourage faxing referrals except under emergency circumstances.
