Weekend Check-ups

In addition to our regularly scheduled Saturday office hours for urgent care, we will begin piloting a program in May to also have additional physicians available on the weekends to perform routine health maintenance exams (“check-ups”). We’re hoping families utilize this convenience so their kids won’t have to miss school or extracurricular activities, and working parents won’t have to take any more time away from their professional responsibilities. There are no age limits or other restrictions in scheduling, so please call today for an appointment!

Due to inclement weather our office will be closed for the afternoon today. One of our physicians is available at all times for emergencies through the answering service. We will post an update regarding office hours for tomorrow in the morning.

With the forecast of snow overnight and the potential for our office losing power, we want to remind everyone with appointments tomorrow to please call before heading over to confirm that we are open. In the event that we are closed we will update our website and facebook pages, and a physician will always be available by phone for emergencies.

We are open regular business hours on Saturday, 12/22/12, from 8:30am to 12pm. We are also open on Christmas Eve (Monday, 12/24/ 12) but anticipate closing mid-day. We are closed on Christmas Day (Tuesday, 12/25/12).

EMR

Big news! We are currently in the initial phase of implementing an office-wide electronic medical record system (“EMR”). Although we do not anticipate any significant problems during our transition, it is possible that registration and office visits may take longer at times. Flu vaccines

We now have all of our flu vaccines in stock! This includes both standard and preservative free flu shots as well as the nasal spray Flumist. In addition to appointments during our regular office hours, we are running clinics every Saturday morning throughout the month of September as a convenient way for our patients (and their parents!) to get this important vaccine. Please call to schedule your appointment as soon as possible.
